Allegory
We believe landscape is a form of continuous poetry, holding the memories, character and spirit of what happened before. We seek out these visual and verbal stories as inspiration as we add the new verse.

Wild & human
We see our role as respectful and responsible stewards cohabiting with the rest of nature. We consider the elements necessary for people, animals and plants to thrive on the land. Their need to interact with food, water, shelter and community.

We have a deep appreciation for the natural flows of land, water and climate. We hold a vivid sense of landscape and consider topography, geology, hydrology alongside settlements, landform and vistas as parts of a seamless whole.
